Founded in 2008 with just 10 charter members, the North Jersey Concert band has grown to 60 plus members, and under the direction of conductor Mike Roth, has become one of the premier ensembles in the North Jersey area.

Comprised of members from all walks of life including talented high school students, teachers and amateur musicians, NJCB performs between 12-15 performances, and operates year-round. Performing in various venues throughout the North Jersey area, NJCB musicians and audiences alike enjoy a varied repertoire that ranges from contemporary compositions for wind ensemble, big band and Broadway show tune favorites, pop tunes and classic marches.

NJCB welcomes musicians in all sections.  There is no formalized audition requirement but we ask that you be moderately proficient, and be ready to explore and participate in a quality ensemble. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening from 8:00pm – 10:00pm at the Ponds Reformed Church in Oakland NJ.

We invite you to search around through our website to learn more about our ensemble. If you would like membership information, or would like to hire the band, please click on the link below and send us a note!

NJCB is established a 501(c)3 charitable organization, providing quality musical experiences to the greater North Jersey area. Donations are always welcomed, and are completely tax deductible.
