Marches
Everyone likes a good march! Besides the typical favorites such as Stars and Stripes Forever, National Emblem, and Washington Post, we have a few lesser known patriotic marches as well. Below, the band plays Stars and Stripes in July, 2009.
Show Tunes
We play many popular show tune medleys from such hits as "Man of La Mancha", "Sound of Music" and (as shown in the video below) exerpts from "The Wizard of Oz" arranged by Michael Story:
Classical pieces
Besides the seasonal and patriotic pieces that we play for holiday concerts, we like to add in some classical music such as "Hymn of Freedom" by Johannes Brahms:
Featured Soloists
We have some talented musicians and we can't help but show them off occasionally with special pieces, such as Danny Boy, featuring trumpeter Jay Solomon:
